A comprehensive assessment is a 60–90-minute thorough evaluation to gather detailed information about a client's mental health and personal history. It includes interviews, assessments, and record reviews to diagnose issues and plan personalized treatment.

A counseling session is a 53-minute private meeting between a client and therapist to discuss concerns and goals. The therapist provides support and guidance to promote healing, growth, and well-being. 

Insurance coverage varies by provider. 

LPC providers typically accept insurance. 

LPCA providers are self-pay providers that offer reduced rates and can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
